SAINT MARY-OF-THE-WOODS, Ind. – The Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College women's volleyball team closed out Senior Day in front of 325 fans with a 3-0 sweep of Oakland City University on Saturday morning inside the Knoerle Center.

The Pomeroys improved to 28-2 overall and 12-1 in River States Conference play. Oakland City fell to 12-15, 3-10 RSC.

Match Leaders

• Karla Melendez led all players with 16 kills while adding seven digs.
• Masa Pesic contributed nine kills on .500 hitting, while Lisanel Rodriguez tallied eight kills and three digs.
• Aden Britt dished out 25 assists, with Ariana Cruz-Gonzalez adding eight and Ryan Canter four.
• SMWC dominated from the service line with nine aces, highlighted by three from Daniella Zvonar.
• Leishmarie Virella paced the defense with 19 digs, and Evelyn Morales led at the net with three blocks.

The Pomeroys finished the match with a .343 hitting percentage and advantages in kills (49-28), assists (45-26), digs (54-37) and service aces (9-0).

Oakland City was led by Elleanor Stark with eight kills and 11 digs, while Tara Rajkovic added seven kills and three blocks.
