SAINT MARY-OF-THE-WOODS, Ind. – The Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College women's volleyball team closed out Senior Day in front of 325 fans with a 3-0 sweep of Oakland City University on Saturday morning inside the Knoerle Center.
The Pomeroys improved to 28-2 overall and 12-1 in River States Conference play. Oakland City fell to 12-15, 3-10 RSC.
Match Leaders
The Pomeroys finished the match with a .343 hitting percentage and advantages in kills (49-28), assists (45-26), digs (54-37) and service aces (9-0).
Oakland City was led by
Elleanor Stark with eight kills and 11 digs, while
Tara Rajkovic added seven kills and three blocks.
