SAINT MARY-OF-THE-WOODS, Ind. -- The Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College men's soccer team beat the heat on Tuesday (Aug. 27) by moving their game up against visiting Trinity Christian (Ill.) but it was the Trolls who came out on top by virtue of a 4-0 victory at the SMWC Soccer Complex.

Harry Jackson, the Trolls broke the ice in the 39th minute with a goal. The came back with another two minutes later to take a 2-0 edge into the half.
Goals from Trinity Christian in the 53rd and 66th minutes sealed the Pomeroys fate as the temperatures rose throughout the early afternoon.
