SAINT MARY-OF-THE-WOODS, Ind. -- The Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College women's volleyball team will host its annual Pink Out game on Friday, October 11 as they host Shawnee State inside the Knoerle Center.
The Pink Out game is set for a 7:00 p.m. (ET) first serve on campus. The Pomeroys enter the match with a 22-3 overall record and will jump back into River States Conference play by hosting Shawnee State on Friday night. All SMWC fans are encouraged to wear pink to the contest.
The game versus Shawnee State begins a busy weekend for the Pomeroys as they will also be at home on Saturday, October 12 to host Alice Lloyd (Ky.) at Noon (ET). SMWC will also host Georgetown (Ky.) at 4:00 p.m. (ET) with Georgetown and Alice Lloyd both scheduled to meet at 2 pm (ET).
A reminder that October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and all month long many different sports organizations and teams will be hosting Pink Out games to continue to raise awareness and fight this disease.
