      SMWC hits the road to visit RSC-East second-place Point Park and Shawnee State. The Pomeroys are 3-2 this season in true road games.
     Destiny Thomas and Allyson Hardiek are coming off season-high performances with 15 and 14 points respectively. Hardiek had a double-double with 11 rebounds against Alice Lloyd.  
The Pomeroys are averaging 81.9 points during RSC play, third best in the RSC.

JONES PASSES 800
     SMWC junior guard Brooklynn Jones passed 800 points for her career on Saturday, giving her 814. Jones is averaging 17.5 ppg during the Pomeroys' eight conference games, ranking sixth in the league in league-only games. Jones is hitting 50 percent from the field during RSC play, ranking 13th in the RSC as well as 80 percent at the free-throw line and 54.5 percent from 3-point range. 

ON TARGET
    Three Pomeroys are in the top 15 in the RSC in 3-point shooting percentage during league play, with a minimum of 1 made 3-pointer per game. 
Kylee Stepp leads the league at 44.4 percent, followed by Abby Worley, 14th at 36.8 and Irye Gomez in 15th at 36.1 percent. Gomez is 6th in made 3-pointers at 2.8 per game. 

SPARK IN '24
    In five games since Jan. 3, Destiny Thomas is averaging 8.4 points, 5.4 assists, 5.2 rebounds and 1.8 steals. 
Thomas has started the past four games. Her assists average in RSC action of 4.1 per game is third in the RSC.

Gabriella Legister averages 14.6 ppg and 11 rebounds. She leads the RSC in offensive rebounds. The 6-foot-2 Kennessaw State transfer. Gillian Picolino averages a team-high 16.8 ppg for a Pioneers squad posting an average of 83 ppg.
