SMWCĀ (1-3-3, 0-0-1) looks for its first River States Conference win Saturday at Midway.
Coach Ron Kiernicki was pleased with his team's play after a nearly two-week layoff.Ā
"The ladies looked very, very good today," Kiernicki said. "IU East is a solid team and Shane is a top-notch coach. He was moving feet around to counter our attack, and we had to make significant adjustments. We ran a very tight ship and IUE found a hole, but all in all, I am very happy with where we are right now."Ā
