Women's Basketball Falls 67-57 to RSC Foe Alice Lloyd College

Box Score SAINT MARY-OF-THE-WOODS, Ind. – The SMWC Women's Basketball team (11-13, 5-12) fell to Alice Lloyd College this afternoon 57-67 in a tightly contested game. The teams were tied for much of the contest with multiple lead changes. The Pomeroys' cold shooting in the 4th spelled doom as they allowed the Eagles to go on a run and steal this one.

By the Numbers

Abby Worley led the team with 10 points, followed by Sydney Ingram and Destiny Thomas with 9.
Avalee Jeffers pulled down 10 boards and Worley added 9 assists to round out the top performers.
The team shot 27.6% from the field and 42.9% from deep. Their 16.7% shooting in the 4th was a major factor in today's loss.

Next Up

The women have the final regular season game next Saturday, February 26th at 2:00 p.m. ET against the University of Cincinnati-Clermont.
