Pomeroys Can't Hold on in 43-67 Loss to Alice Lloyd

Hardiek, Williams Lead Team With 11 Points Each

PIPPA PASSES, Ken. – The SMWC Women's Basketball team (10-6) was unable to pull out the win against a tough RSC opponent in Alice Lloyd (13-7). The Pomeroys kept it close throughout the first quarter, but Alice Lloyd would go on a 3-23 run in the 2nd quarter to pull away. Allyson Hardiek was close to her first triple double of the season with a final stat line of 11 points, 9 rebounds, and 7 blocks. 
By the Numbers
  • Hardiek and Aliyah Williams both led the team with 11 points each. They would be followed by Sydney Ingram with 8 points.
  • Hardiek's 9 rebounds would once again lead the team, closely followed by Brooklyn Jones' 8.
  • Defensively, the Pomeroys would hold Alice Lloyd to just 27-75 shooting and 5-16 from the 3-pt line.
