NEW ALBANY, Ind. - The SMWC volleyball team dropped their fourth out of five contests tonight against Indiana University-Southeast. The Pomeroys were swept in three sets by the Grenadiers 25-8, 25-18, and 25-19.
What you need to know:
- SMWC was held to just 11 kills on the night by the Grenadiers strong defense
- Gabriella Slagle led the team with five kills
- Katelyn Cotter finished the night with 14 of the teams 15 assists
- Pamela Dorman concluded the contest with nine digs
By the Numbers:
SMWC nows sits with a 1-4 record on the season having played a very stout NAIA schedule thus far. The Pomeroys have battled injuries and illnesses which has made it hard to produce a fully staffed team.

The Woods will be back in action on Saturday, September 4th against NCAA Division II Oakland City Unversity. First serve is set for 7:00 p.m. EST.
