SAINT MARY OF THE WOODS, Ind.- Tuesday night, the Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College women's basketball team hosted Indiana University-Southeast Grenadiers in the Pomeroys first home game of the season. SMWC lost 70-88.

How It Happened:

The Pomeroys fell behind in the first quarter 10-19 to IU-Southeast. Callan Taylor came out hot in the second quarter hitting a 3-point basket. IU-Southeast would go on a run and push ahead 28-45 at the half. With IU-Southeast shooting a 47.9% field goal percentage, they kept their lead and won 88-70.

Statistical Leaders

• Mara Canada led the Pomeroys 14 points, hitting four 3-point baskets
• Callan Taylor scored 13 points hitting three 3-point baskets
• On the glass, Regan Hubbard and Brianna Smith each grabbed five rebounds
