Box Score RICHMOND, Ind. - The Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College Pomeroys women's volleyball team battled the Indiana University-East Red Wolves last night. IU-East jumped out to a two-set lead before the Pomeroys caught fire and forced a fifth set. In set five, SMWC had a 6-5 lead but then lost their senior middle blocker, Monica Mack, due to a facial injury. At this point, SMWC took a downward spiral and could not regroup. The Woods lost 15-8 and are now 12-15 on the year.

- Monica Mack set a season-high with 15 kills; she concluded the contest with a .458 hitting %
- Pamela Dorman led the team in digs with 20; she has 421 digs on the season
- McKenzi Kumpf recorded 19 digs and nine kills; on the season she has 264 total kills

The Pomeroys will back at home against Indiana University-Northwest at 2:00 p.m on Saturday. The men's golf team will be honored with the presentation of the 2018 National Championship Trophy before the first serve. Overall, SMWC has three more contests left this season including senior day on Saturday, November 3rd at 5:00 p.m. EST.
