2026 Indoor (Sophomore): Won the 400 meters at the DePauw Invite and placed third in the event at both the John Gartland Invitational and River States Conference Championships. Young also scored in the high jump at the conference meet and contributed to SMWC’s fourth-place 4x400-meter relay.

2026 Outdoor (Sophomore): Set the SMWC outdoor 400-meter record at 1:00.17 while placing third at the River States Conference Championships. Young also placed fourth in the conference high jump and eighth in the triple jump while contributing to both the fourth-place 4x100 and 4x400 relays. She placed second in the 400 meters and third in the high jump at the Fightin’ Engineers Spring Classic.
