Assistant Men's and Women's Track & Field Coach | 2018 - Present
Jaynard was hired as the Assistant Men's and Women's Track & Field Coach on August 15, 2018. He works primarily with the Pomeroy sprinters and hurdlers.
Professional Experience
Keys is no stranger to understanding what it takes to become a successful student-athlete as he successfully competed for the Indiana State University track and field team. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Sports Management and holds his Master's degree from Indiana State University.
On the track, he helped lead the Sycamores to a 2014 Outdoor MVC Championship, placing fifth place in the 100-M Dash, and fourth place with his teammates in the 100-M Relay. In 2015, Keys led his team to an Indoor MVC Championship after he scored in both the 60-M Dash and 200-M Dash. In his career, a few of his best times include a 100-M Dash (10.50), 60-M Dash (6.8), and a 200-M Dash (21.3).
Personal
Keys was born in Hammond, Louisiana, before moving to Indianapolis, where he graduated from Perry Meridiana High School.
He currently resides in Terre Haute, Indiana, with his wife and newborn daughter.
