Gage Rayman was named Assistant Men's & Women's Track and Field Coach on August 7, 2019. He works primarily with the Pomeroy Throwers.
Previous Experience
Gage joins the Pomeroys from his previous position as Assistant Throws Coach at Aberdeen Central High School in Aberdeen, South Dakota. Prior to that, he was a coach/counselor at Ironwood Throws Camp from 2015-2017.
Rayman is no stranger to success when it comes to throwing as he collected a number of accolades in high school including 2nd Team All-Greater Spokane League (GSL) – Shot Put (2013), 3A GSL – Shot Put Champion (2013), Shadle Park Field MVP (2012 & 2013). In College, he posted personal bests in Hammer – 48.26m (2018), Weight – 15.56m (2018), and Shot Put – 14.10m (2017).
Personal
Rayman graduated from Northern State University with a degree in Psychology and a concentration in Coaching. The thrower also played football in high school for the Highlanders.
Currently, he resides in Terre Haute, Indiana.
