2026 Indoor (Freshman): Opened his collegiate career with a second-place finish in the 60 meters at 7.16 and a third-place finish in the 200 meters at 23.88 at the Fightin’ Engineers Invitational. Vaughn later placed seventh in the 200 meters at the John Gartland Invitational with a personal-best time of 23.30.

2026 Outdoor (Freshman): Led SMWC’s sprint group in several meets. Vaughn placed sixth in the 200 meters at the Rose-Hulman Early Bird Invitational with a time of 22.46 and scored in the 100 meters. He ran a season-best 11.34 in the 100 meters at the Indiana State Pacesetter Invitational and contributed to the fifth-place 4x100-meter relay at the River States Conference Championships.
