Each student-athlete upon acceptance to the athletic program will be expected to read and sign a code of conduct. Because athletes are public figures representing the College, they are held to a higher standard of excellence. It is our expectation that student-athletes will behave in a responsible manner and we will hold them accountable for their actions.
The Code of Conduct will assist students in better grasping the goals and objectives of the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics. Additionally, it will provide pertinent information to help them navigate campus life in general, and more specifically, their role as a student-athlete.
We encourage they to seek advice and input from their coaches and other professionals at The Woods. These people are additional resources who can help them enjoy success in their academic and athletic experiences.
